| The
Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Stirling Arabs DUSC was formed during late 2000
when a few Lanarkshire based Arabs decided to attempt to resurrect the old
Glasgow Arabs, whose unfortunate demise had left Weegie-based Arabs stranded
to non-attendance or left to make their way north in small dislocated groups
of car share fans or by bus or train.
The club is now amongst
the largest clubs in the Federation of Dundee United supporters clubs,
and club officials have played a full part in the activities of that organization,
keeping the opinions and views of the West-coast based fans to the fore.
Club Chairman Innes Laing serves on the executive Committee of the Federation.
