We are a
Dundee United Supporters Club from the heart of Fife, serving Glenrothes
and the surrounding area, currently with a membership from Glenrothes,
Markinch, Kirkcaldy, Leven, Burntisland, Glasgow, Yeovil & South
Korea!
The origins
of the club go all the way back to the early 1980's, when a mini-bus
took a small bunch of Arabs from Fife to grounds all around the
country as United won the Premier League for the first time and
took on the Elite of European football under manager Jim McLean.

The DUSC
Glenrothes Branch went through various phases in the late 80's and
early 90's, becoming an inaugral member of the Federation of Dundee
United Supporters Clubs in 1991, and officially became "The
Glenrothes Arabs" in 1993 with a change of name and "management".
Our membership
grew during the mid 90's, as United finally lifted the Scottish
Cup, and we travelled far and wide as the team spent a season in
the First Division before returning to the top flight to finish
third with Tommy McLean's scandinavian revolution.

|
Over the
past 20 years we have ran buses to not only towns and cities who
have had teams in the Premier League, but have also provided transport
to other places across the country, including Alloa, Dumfries, Arbroath,
Huntly, Stranraer, Dumbarton, Berwick, Greenock, Stirling, Dingwall
and Montrose.
We have
also had a number of members travel to Europe to watch United, including
countries like France, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Romania, Northern
Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Andorra and Finland.

On matchdays
we leave from The Prinlaws pub in Leslie for every home game, and
try to go to as many away games as we can, depending on enough numbers.
Other pick up points can sometimes be arranged.
As we are
members of the Federation of Dundee United Supporters Clubs we will
always obtain tickets for all those big matches and also receive
subsidised bus travel from time to time.
If you are
interested in coming along on the bus to a United match, or just
wish to find out more information, please do not hesitate to get
in touch.
