Tony Bullock
Goalkeeper

United Debut: v Rangers (H) 1-3 31/8/03.

Signed From: Ross County (player swap deal)* 27/6/03.

Transferred to: Gillingham 29/6/05.

Ross County goalkeeper Tony Bullock arrived at Tannadice in a deal that saw Jamie McCunnie and David Winters* heading to Dingwall before the 2003-04 season. He made his debut in the fourth game of the season against Rangers at Tannadice, displacing the out of form Paul Gallacher, and played in the next 6 games before picking up a long term injury in a game against Motherwell. By the time Bullock recovered he found it hard to get back into the first team with Gallacher now in top form, and it wasn't until Gallacher left for Norwich that Bullock finally regained the No.1 Jersey. He started the 2004-05 season as first choice keeper, but again picked up an injury after a handful of games, dislocating his shoulder in a game against Motherwell. He returned three months later, fighting off competition from new signing Nick Colgan, and helped the club survive relegation and reach the Scottish Cup final before moving on to Gillingham after his contract was up.
