Finn Seeman
Forward

United Debut: .

Signed From: Lyn Oslo, Oct 1965.

Transferred to: DWS Amsterdam 1968.

The fifth of the Scandinavians to sign for Jerry Kerr's United, Seeman joined Persson, Dossing, Berg and Wing, a couple of months into the 1965/66 season. In his first term he scored in a 2-2 draw with Hearts, a 4-1 win over Falkirk and scored the winner in a Dundee Derby 2-1 win at Tannadice, as the club went on to qualify for Europe for the first time. The following season the Norwegian winger scored from the penalty spot at the Nou Camp to put United 2-0 up against Barcelona in the clubs first ever European tie, as United eventually won 4-1 on aggregate.
During the 1967-68 season, Seeman scored in one of United's highest ever League wins at Tannadice, beating Stirling Albion 9-0, and also scored in a 5-0 hammering of Aberdeen in the League Cup. But, by the end of that season, Jerry Kerr's Scandinavian era came to an end when Seeman and Morgens Berg left for pastures new.
